Music produces local understanding, a fine thing to have in most circumstances, equal only to global understanding in our experience, both being parts of a whole.

Music brings another dimension to the narrative of time, it brings time to life, produces an immediacy, an intensity to time. Energy is produced intensely from a single source. this energy is then amplified and distributed to form the spark for the next explosion. The system explodes into life, burns bright and grabs for life with all the heart and skills at it’s disposal. This fuels the next cycle of rebirth. We store the energy burnt in an image of our social being. Identity, the common history of our shared selves. From this stored energy we create an image of society, society in our image. Identity rests in this fusion of past, present and future time. Realizing this, we must first wrestle with our own identity, then stand and face our neighbours. Only then can we begin to decide the fate oF our kind, and in the process deliver ourselves to our destiny in all our myriad forms.

Sound, the vibration of the universe, plays it’s part in all our experiences, however we experience it. Through the exploration of sound we create myriads of universes, we can create universes at will, we are pushing at the very force of creation and delighting in the noise we create. Guesswork has allowed us to reach this point. We stand at the gates of time, conscious and strong. Here we can define history.

In such times, we must be strong, be free and be kind.
